I’m Gehan “G” - Founder & Creative Consultant of Golden Synergy Touch, LLC!

Will add, quirky, “recovering” corporate Human Resources (HR) Professional (various titles). And as an 18+ year LinkedIn® user, I’ve pivoted from “permanent” roles into project work I’ve been passionately doing for many years.

As HR sometimes has a meh stigma attached to it, my customer-centric, personable approach to the profession (I put personality into personnel 😉) has served me well as a Fractional & Project HR Consultant, and also allowed me to incorporate strategic LinkedIn® and CliftonStrengths initiatives into various workplaces.

Part of that “story” is how in July 2013, I first learned about StrengthsFinder at a morning networking event an hour after I was termed from a role I’d struggled in for two years, took the assessment a week later, and changed my personal and professional life forever.

And later, I became a Certified YouMap® Coach to work with companies AND individuals seeking to enhance their development and align their personal and professional brands using the fusion of those CliftonStrengths as the foundation, along with Skills, Values and Personality (the “Four Pillars” of the YouMap® profile)!

With over 20 years of HR experience, I've successfully partnered with employees from hourly staff to the C-suite for small and large companies including Cintas, 7-Eleven, CVS, Sara Lee and Henry Ford Health System.

Before officially establishing my LLC in 2021, I spent over a decade as a consultant while in between more “permanent” roles.” I offered temp and project-based HR solutions while also providing corporate LinkedIn® training and job seeker support. In recognizing my own talents and not wanting to rely solely on the uncertainty of more “permanent” work, Golden Synergy Touch was born!

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in HR Training & Development from Oakland University, a Master’s Degree in Leadership from Central Michigan University, and hold various HR and related certifications, including YouMap®. And I’m a Metro Detroit, MI native currently residing in North Dallas, TX with my husband, whom I met while in my first post-grad role with Cintas (be sure to ask about our workplace wedding)!
